THE CAPSTONE PROPHECY: When the Throne of Heaven Comes Down to Earth

Scripture reveals that God came down from Heaven on a number of occasions in the Old Testament. During these divine encounters, there was a majestic, royal pattern that appeared.

According to this royal pattern, God would leave His throne in Heaven to dwell with men on earth. From Mount Sinai to Mount Carmel, Earth was transformed by the fiery lightning and bright cloud of His presence. God met with man on these special occasions at the summit of mountains. The peak became His throne on earth.

This divine pattern in the Old Testament appears again during the ministry of Jesus. It unlocks the events that took place at the Mount of Transfiguration, when Jesus lit up like the sun at the summit. Joining Him at the top were the men from Mount Sinai (Moses) and Mount Carmel (Elijah). The royal, divine pattern was completed in Jesus.

This royal pattern from Heaven also explains the devil’s counterfeit, symbols seen throughout the occult. But, the pattern is the Lord’s, and it is meant to magnify the kingship of His Son. It is meant to encourage us that Jesus will return. He will descend from Heaven with a shout, to establish His Throne over the nations. As the divine pattern has shown, the Throne of Jesus will be set at the peak of an exceedingly high mountain. As Isaiah explains:

“In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s House will be established as the highest of the mountains, it will be raised above all the hills. All nations will stream to it.” Isaiah 2:2
