God in His wisdom created a New Testament commandment. His command to  His Church was to not go out to do the work of the Kingdom in the flesh, for that would fail. He commanded His people to go out in the power of the Holy Spirit. This power comes through the baptism described by Jesus in Acts 1.
 
In Luke 10:19, Jesus gave His disciples authority over all the power of the enemy. He told His followers that "greater works than these will you do." When we receive the bapstism in the Spirit, we are being equipped to fulfilll this promise, and to succeed in the Great Commission.
 
In this 7 part teaching, Bill Banks explains the importance of this baptism, separate from the water baptism of new birth. He provides information on the operation of the spiritual gifts that come with this baptism as described by Paul in 1 Corinthians 12.
 
The Holy Spirit is preparing the way for Jesus to come again. God is encouraging His people today to seize hold of this dimension of ministry to finish the Great Commission and usher in the final defeat of Satan.
